Annette has more than 25 years' experience in the field of human rights, immigration, nationality and asylum law. She meets the LAA Advanced Caseworker and Supervisor standards. She has been the solicitor with conduct of numerous asylum and immigration applications, appeals (up to and including appeals to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court), judicial review applications and damages claims. Annette holds an LLM degree and is currently a member of the Law Society Immigration Law Sub-Committee.

In 2018, Annette was described in Chambers and Partners as a “complete powerhouse” when it comes to human rights-related immigration matters. Sources also say she has a “really cool head, is quick to the point, very effective and keeps a high level of work on public-funded cases.”
